How potz works.
All of it.
potz is a launchpad on BNB Chain where every coin carries its own prize pot. Coins are created on Four.meme and trade like any Four.meme coin: on its bonding curve first, then on PancakeSwap once the curve fills. A slice of every trade fills the pot, and the coin's players win it in BNB.
Launching a coin
One form: image, name, ticker, a game, a round length and a pair. potz asks Four.meme to create the coin in Tax Mode: a 1% tax on buys and on sells, 100% of it paid to potz. Transfers between wallets are not taxed. Launching costs only gas, plus your optional opening buy (BNB pair only; it is not a ticket).
Pick any pair Four.meme offers: BNB, stablecoins (USDT, USD1, UUSD) or tokenized stocks (NVIDIA, SpaceX, Robinhood and more). Each coin pays its tax to its own small router contract. On the BNB pair the router hands every fee to the potz vault the moment it arrives. On other pairs the fee arrives in the pair token, and the router can only swap it to BNB and hand it to the vault.
The router's address is computed from your wallet, your game and your round length before the coin exists, and Four.meme writes it into the coin. So the vault can check all three from the coin itself, and only your wallet can open your coin's pot (the last step of the launch, one small transaction): nobody, potz included, can register it with another creator or game, or attach another coin to your router. Tax paid before the pot opens is kept and credited.
Where the 1% goes
- 0.25% to the coin's pot, in BNB.
- 0.25% to the creator, for life, paid to your wallet automatically (every hour once it reaches 0.003 BNB).
- 0.25% to potz.
- 0.25% buys back $POTZ and burns it.
For $POTZ itself the split is 0.50% to the $POTZ pot, 0.25% to potz and 0.25% to the buyback. Four.meme also charges its usual trading fee on its curve, as on any Four.meme coin.
Four.meme collects the tax inside the coin and releases it in batches (from about 0.01 BNB on the BNB pair), so a pot grows in steps. The coin page shows what is waiting to be released.
Tickets
A buy of 0.002 BNB or more made on potz is a ticket in the coin's current round, weighted by the BNB you spend. It works on every pair (potz swaps your BNB to the pair token first) and both before and after the coin lists on PancakeSwap. Buys made elsewhere (on Four.meme's site, through trading bots or on PancakeSwap directly) feed the pot all the same, but they are not tickets: potz cannot know who received those coins.
Hold to win
Each ticket records your coin balance right after the buy. Until the round is drawn, keep at least the balance of your latest ticket in that round. If you drop below it (you sell or send coins), your tickets of that round are void: anyone can record it on-chain the moment it happens, and the vault checks every winner's balance again at the draw. Buying back does not revive them, and further buys in that round don't count. The next round starts fresh.
Your odds are your BNB of tickets in the round divided by everyone's, one weight per wallet.
Rounds and draws
- A round lasts 1, 6 or 24 hours (the creator's choice) and its clock starts with its first ticket. A ticket bought after the clock ran out goes to the next round.
- A round's pot is everything funded before it closed, plus what earlier draws did not pay. Fees arriving later belong to the next round.
- A round draws once its pot reaches 0.005 BNB. If its clock runs out before that, the clock simply restarts and every ticket keeps its chance.
- The draw uses Chainlink VRF v2.5 on BNB Chain, paid in BNB from the pot (a few cents; never more than 10% of it). If Chainlink has not answered after 6 hours, the draw is requested again. After 7 days without an answer, a last-resort draw uses the hash of a future block, which is weaker randomness and only exists so a pot can never get stuck.
- Winners come from a sequence of picks fixed by the random number alone, weighted by BNB (up to 64 picks). Each prize goes to the next pick whose wallet still holds what it must; a void wallet's pick is skipped. The keeper voids sellers just before requesting the random number, and a wallet voided before that request leaves the draw entirely. In a Raffle the same wallet can win more than one prize, in proportion to its weight.
- For one hour after the random number arrives, only the potz keeper can settle the draw (it voids sellers first); after that, anyone can.
The three games
- Jackpot: one winner takes 80% of the pot. 20% seeds the next round.
- Raffle: three winners take 45%, 25% and 10%. 20% seeds the next round.
- Mega: one round in four hits and pays 90% to one winner. Otherwise everything rolls over and the pot grows.
Anything a draw cannot pay (no live ticket) rolls over into the next round, in full.
Getting paid
Prizes are paid in BNB. The potz keeper sends them to the winners as soon as a draw settles. If it cannot (some smart-contract wallets refuse BNB), the prize stays yours in the vault: claim it from your page, to any address.
$POTZ and the buyback
$POTZ is the potz token, a Four.meme coin with its own pot. The buyback balance in the vault can only ever be spent one way: buying $POTZ on its curve or its PancakeSwap pair, with the coins delivered to 0x…dEaD in the same transaction. Each buyback is capped at 1 BNB, at most one every 5 minutes, may not move the price by more than 3%, and only happens while the price is within 10% of two reference prices recorded at least 10 minutes apart (no buying into a pump). Every one is listed on the burn page. Until $POTZ is live the balance accumulates for the first buybacks.
The contracts
- PotzVault: published at launch: receives the tax, splits it, holds the pots and runs the draws.
- PotzTrader: published at launch: makes the buys that are tickets, and the buybacks.
- PotzBuyback: published at launch: holds the buyback BNB; it can only buy $POTZ and burn it.
Open source, verified on BscScan, immutable (no proxy, no upgrade) and tested on BNB Chain mainnet forks with the real Four.meme, PancakeSwap and Chainlink contracts. Nobody, potz included, can move a pot, a prize, a creator share or the buyback balance anywhere else than the rules above.
What the potz operator can do: choose when buybacks and stable or stock fee swaps happen, within the caps, and settle draws first during their first hour. The owner can add swap routes for new pairs (a pair's route can never change once set), pause new registrations and bind $POTZ once. Neither can touch any balance, change a coin's split, game or creator, or change a draw.
Risks
Memecoins can go to zero. Smart contracts can contain bugs. Four.meme, PancakeSwap and Chainlink are third-party systems potz relies on. Nothing on this site is financial advice. See the terms.
